Whether you’re a beginner or veteran fisherman, deep-sea fishing can be a lot of fun!

Some of the best fishing on the Pacific coast of North America is located in the strip that lies right off the San Francisco Bay. Most charter boats run daytrips, but some companies do offer multiple-day trips.

The fishing season starts March and runs into October. In the summer, king salmon is willing to bite along with striped bass and leopard sharks amongst other sport fish. Although you can fish this area in many ways, mooching and trolling dominate.
